Why i began more life

'My work is my Passion'

Having helped begin and develop a furniture re-use project that facilitated items for local people it became clear that despite there being numerous cheap furniture outlets and various options for credit many people are unable to prioritise furnishing their home and often have no option for furniture at all. When receiving referrals from groups or organisations familiar with our generosity we were exposed to a world that is hard to believe exists in the western world let alone one of the richest capitals in the world. Children sleeping on floor because they have not bed. Individuals with little budget but needling to furnish a whole property.

Now there is the perspective that having a fully furnished house isn't a big deal but in reality the affect of waking up to and coming home to a well furnished property every day is important if not essential to having someone feel good about themselves and their self confidence. The saying Home is where the heart is hasn't come out of the blue with no notion behind it. It is because how is the centre of people's existence and in a busy overcrowded, overpriced London is now more important than ever. Particularly with young individuals or people who have lived on the streets for a long time taking pride in their home thus pride in themselves. Connecting with individuals in this way as apposed to offering them an obvious work programmes or schemes when they are coming out of institutions will allow them to access the services in a much more subtle way
